The Brooklyn Theatre Index Volume III
Coney Island Including Brighton Beach and Manhattan Beach

The book will be available in June 2014, just in time for the summer at Coney Island.




The Billboard, September 22, 1906:

“What Broadway is to Manhattan and what State Street is to Chicago, Surf Avenue is to Coney Island. It is the main thoroughfare of the town and is Coney Island’s representative business street. 
“Along both sides of this thoroughfare, amusements a plenty crowd against restaurants, hotels and free concert halls in constituting a line-up of commercial activities.”


Cezar Del Valle is the author of the Brooklyn Theatre Index, chosen 2010 Best Book of the Year by the Theatre Historical Society.
He is available for theatre talks and walks in 2014, historical societies, libraries, senior centers, etc.
